The Mud Monster

Are they real?

Bullwrinkle and his besties play catch after school at a nearby park. One of his friends throws the ball so high that it disappears into the woods. Mom always warns Bullwrinkle not to go inside the woods as stinky mud monsters are inside. Though no one has really seen a mud monster. As Bullwrinkle's friends depart for home, he ignores Mom’s warning and enters the woods. Did he find the ball?

We picked this book for its title. The story follows a super imaginative and energetic dog, Bullwrinkle, and his adventure into the woods against his mom’s warnings. Kids will ponder Bullwrinkle's mysterious discovery in the forest even after finishing the book. The illustrations are bright and enhance the storyline.
