A cozy ride with Corduroy.
A toy bear named Corduroy has been waiting in the toy department for a long time. And really needed a home. He almost thought his wish came true when a little girl decided to buy him. But her mom stopped her, saying that she didn’t have any money left, and also Corduroy didn’t look new with a button missing from his overalls. So that night, Corduroy decided to find himself a button but failed. But the following day changes everything for him.
Corduroy is a lovely bedtime story with elegant illustrations that will make you read it repeatedly. The story is simple but meaningful. The story takes you through many emotions but closes off well with a happy ending.
An easy read with a subtle message of perseverance.
