A cat's freedom quest.
A cat named Oscar leads an ordinary life with a loving owner. However, it was holiday time, and that one time Oscar hated as it meant traveling around with his owner. He tries to hide in the house’s attic, but the owner takes him along. Before he realized he was on a ferry. Oscar tries to run out of there and ends up on the road. He believes that was freedom until after living a few days with a Seagull, a rat, and a chef. What happens to Oscar? Did he live his happily ever after freedom life?
Oscar’s mindless quest for adventure makes him lose his safe home. It is a pleasant story of a cat’s quest for adventure ending well with a beautiful friendship. The illustrations are gorgeous and complement the story really well.
Oscar, the Ferry Cat by Molly Arbuthnott is a pleasant story about a cat’s misadventure leading to a beautiful friendship.
