Lou had always wanted to be a cop since he was a child, and he used to play cop with his friends in the cop and robbers game. Finally, after much effort, he became a lieutenant. Lou is determined to defend his hometown of Doxaloo. Then, one day, he discovers a puppy, Belleau, in the park and appoints him as his deputy. The two then embark on an adventure to protect the town.
We picked this book for its title. The book is an inspiring account of a cop and his adventures protecting the small town of Doxaloo with his deputy. The illustrations are vibrant and lively, and they effectively convey the story.
Lou, the Lieutenant is a lovely tribute to the dedicated, brave cops who perform their duties selflessly, written by Catherine Bishop and illustrated by Agus Prajogo and Yohanes Bastian.
