Goodness Gracious Golly Gee

Merry times.

Dad forgets to get a Christmas tree and worries about what Mr.Santa will think and how sad that would make him. He also cannot make the pie and is even more worried. When Santa walks through the door, he will miss garlands and other decorations. And that just doesn’t sound good for Christmas eve. Dad rushes out to the car to grab gifts and goodies, but the reindeer just land on his roof. How is dad going to save Christmas?

We picked this book for its funny title. The Christmas-themed storyline emphasizes that staying together and happy is more important than the gifts and decorations for any celebration or festival. In addition, the illustrations are very Christmasy and colorful.

Goodness Gracious Golly Gee by Carol Burcham & Cori Burcham is a colorful book that underscores the vital aspect of a celebration.
