Ferald, the ferret, emerges from his log house to bask in the beautiful sunshine. As he makes his way to the river, his friend Birzy, the bird, tags along. While en route, they encounter Mr. Wiggly, the snake, and decide to have breakfast together. Following breakfast, Ferald and Birzy make their way to the river. Ferald, feeling tired, notices an old tire and uses it to float on the water. Unfortunately, things don't go smoothly, which freaks out Birzy.
We picked this book for its blurb. In the book, children experience a day in Ferald's life filled with unruly and carefree moments. While thrilling them, his adventure will also caution them to be careful. Birzy's role will encourage them to appreciate friendships. The bright and colorful illustrations beautifully complemented the storyline.
Embark on a rollercoaster adventure with a mischievous ferret and explore the power of friendship in Ferald, a beautifully illustrated book by Keith Williams.
