I found someone!
One fine morning a Dandelion bloomed in a garden full of flowers. Amused by the sight of the beauties around, the Dandelion tried to make conversation with everyone. She got to know the Pansies, Heathers, and many more. Suddenly, the flowers got excited, and Dandelion wondered why. Then, Pansy explained that people who walk by the park pick the flowers up and take them home. The excitement caught Dandelion too. But it was short-lived when Pansy told Dandelion something. What was it?
We picked this book for its title. It's a story of hope and inclusion, leading to a cheerful ending for the beautiful Dandelion. The illustrations are simple and work well for the storyline.
Dandelion by Kayla Hicks is an easy-to-read story of how a Dandelion's zeal and determination lead to positive change despite what others perceive of it.
