Go, Chester, Go!

Chester’s first day at the pirate’s school. It was his dream to be a pirate. On the first day, he is supposed to choose his mate. But poor Chester ends up with Roger, the messy octopus. Every day Chester and his mate cause trouble for Captain Grey-Fogg, their teacher. An already moody captain becomes even more agitated with Chester and company. Finally, the result day comes-will Chester and his mate get their eye patches.



We picked this book for its intriguing title. Who wouldn’t enjoy an adventure with a pirate? The book teaches us to make the best use of what one has while striving to achieve one’s dream. The illustrations will surely please little kids. We thoroughly enjoyed the coloring-styled art.



Chester the (Almost) Pirate by Ann P Borrmann is a delightful story of an aspiring pirate and his determination to get the coveted eye patch.
